Got the kids to bed and ran downstairs to get two seconds with Bryan & he was sound asleep. uh, it's 8:30pm. For those of you unfamiliar with the fun world of surgical residency, I have to fill you in a little bit...Almost everyday [6-7 days a week] he works atleast 110 hours a week and never complains. Not even when the alarm goes off at 4:30 every morning. He just did his first hip replacement from start to finish all by himself the other day and I wanted to post the xray, but he didn't think that was such a good idea, something about patient-doctor confidentiality? :). He was so excited to show me how great everything lined up. I couldn't tell exactly what was what on the xray, but I was so proud of him. I've never seen him at school or work [for all I know he could be a bum on the street!] I just see him come and go, so I was happy and excited to see that my hubby actually does some pretty cool stuff. I guess next time I really will let him stitch my finger up! THAT story is for another time...

ouch! So Bryan and I have the same pink razr phone...
Way to go Bryan. I have only been in one hip replacement, but it was awesome. Very violent, noisy, and amazing to watch. Just remember... there's a light at the end of the tunnel!
I was going to comment on the pink razor..April beat me to it!!
Bry is 'incredible' but so are you for enduring it all, those early bedtimes I know all too well. :)
It's kinda like my hubby getting stuck holding my purse at church! I just tell him it's a nice look for him.
Do tell the story on the finger!
I don't know how you guys do it! Bryan and all the long hours. And you are great for keeping the house together while he is gone!
