Rochester Science Museum

Bryan and I tooke the kids to the Rochester Science Museum this afternoon. There was a new exhibit called Expedition Earth. Tay loved this large shark(?) thing. So realistic, I know. We think she may have a future in theater & drama. We also took the kids to the 'Human Body' IMAX movie. Basically it was a documentary explaining things like: here's the ear drum, watch how the bones vibrate when you hear sound. This is the heart watch it pump the blood in and out, blah, blah, blah...but holy cow, Bryan and I were dying when towards the end they had a scene where the sperm started swimming toward the egg with the song "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye playing in the background...good thing it only lasted a few seconds. I was glad (and laughed) when Brody pointed to the screen and yelled "FISH!" It was all VERY 'G' rated and the kids really didn't even know exactly what that part was about, thank goodness---heaven knows we are NOT ready for that much info yet! We had a few minutes to kill while we waited for the movie to start, here are some pictures I made everyone smile for.

I can just picture you guys sitting there and Bryan narrating and Tay and her love for animals...Oh cute, love you guys!

PS I am glad that you make the family pose for pictures to (make used in the nicest way possible of course) right?! Afterwards did Bryan make some comment like "is that for the blog?!"

Oh Brooke, You know us all too well. Bryan was letting us know about every red blood cell and why that does that...one of my new goals is to be in SOME of our pics---I'm in about 3 over the last 7 years! :) Oh and Bryan doesn't even ask anymore, he already knows....it's smile for the blog everyone!

We still haven't been there yet, totally need to go. Isn't that the bummer about pictures, I have hardly any pics. of me with the kids. It's always Bob, you'd think he's say "Let me take a few of you with the kids" I need to be better about that. What kind of camera do you have (brand/model)anyway?

Such a cute family! I love the story about the sperm swimming. Truman is already asking me (ME) questions about the male anatomy...My mouth drops every time and I say "that is a good question...for DAD". Not excited or ready to have that conversation yet either! :0
