So glad those green mesh bags from the dollar store came in handy!
We headed to the market armed with one in each of our hands.

these are the biggest carrots I had EVER seen :: big around as nice size potatoes!

I couldn't get over the color. Beautiful, bright pinkish-red.
They are now brightening up our kitchen...
:: we discovered these victorian wild flowers symbolize humor, warmth + silliness :: hmmm...same three words I would use to describe Taylor!

waiting for our breakfast :: starving + a little less enthused to be in a wonderful smelling bakery + have to wait our turn...
they did patiently, however, let me take their pictures...
nothing passes the time or gathers more stares from on lookers than portraits in a bakery {the lighting was too good for me to care}!
we munched on polish sweet rolls + my favorite : chocolate croissants.
with rootbeer no less.
then Taylor said as she finished the last gulp...look what I can do mom!
We're so proud.
Anyone care for some apple, pear, broccoli, corn + grape soup?? It's delicious~
Especially if you have this afterwards for dessert!
Best sheet cake I have EVER had...trust me :: have I ever let you down?
WHITE TEXAS SHEET CAKE

1 cup butter
1 cup water
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
1 t. almond extract
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
FROSTING:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 t. almond extract
1 cup sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 350. In large saucepan, bring butter + water to boil. Remove from heat, stir in sugar, eggs, sour cream, almond extract, flour, baking soda + salt. Pour into large greased sheet pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden. Cool 20 minutes or more.
for frosting: In a large saucepan, combine butter + milk. Bring to boil. Remove from heat, stir in sugar + extract. Spread over cake. Sprinkle almonds over top.
:: have someone to share it with :: it's a GIANT sheet cake :: guarantee it will be GONE in 2 days or less...
