Oh...wait!

Brody's first day of preschool was today!
I wasn't going to send him this year, I've never had a child start preschool this early. I couldn't decide (he won't be 3 for 4 more weeks) but Connor went to this same school when he was 4 (and I love it!) and since Brody has gone from fun all day with a brother & sister to just me as his only company (I'm fun, but not that fun) I thought he could really use a couple days a week for a couple hours to change up his routine a bit so for now that is what I'm telling myself.

I feel good about it and I'm excited to have built in play dates and make him feel like he has something just for him to look forward to.

{Mrs Masters LOVES frogs, the whole classroom has frogs everywhere, we found Brody's frog & put it on the blue attendance board.}
Mrs. Masters also made these great school bags for each of the kids in every color, Brody got ORANGE!
Kinda easy to send him on his way when the last face he flashes me before heading inside is this....
oh, wait....
I've changed my mind.

That last shot, well actually almost all of them got me a little teary-eyed, maybe b/c he and A are the same age and they aren't THAT grown-up yet --- are they?!

Cutest teacher. My girls would be in heaven with all the frogs and seriously love the bags she made...teacher of the year!

PS what'cha gonna do with all your alone time?!

ahhh! Ok, now I really AM jealous! Look at all this free time you have now.... no fair! I'm sure you will start a Fortune 500 company or learn how to play concert piano or learn Cambodian, right?
But... that does get me excited that my kiddo is only a year behind... hmmm, could that be me next fall??!!?

I can't believe he is going to school! I feel like it was just yesterday and you pregnant with him and we were stuck in that horribly long traffic jam coming home from the spray park! I love the naught pics :)
