Connor did an awesome job at his very first piano recital! He's been taking lessons for about 6 months now. He was the only one out of all 17 kids who had both his pieces memorized! We're so proud of him. My favorite moment was on the way to the recital when Connor turned to Taylor and said "Tay, are you excited for my premiere?!"
I happily sat by the fire sipping my new favorite White Hot Chocolate with Madagascar Vanilla and banged out a bunch of these barrettes for Taylor + other girlies who are related to us + by the way will be getting them for Christmas gifts -- surprise! {Thanks to my friend Jaime Young for supplying me with all the stuff to make them! You're the best!}
I will post step by step instructions on how to make these (take about 5 minutes each) if anyone is interested...they are really quite fun to make, even Taylor made all by herself the blueish-green one at the very top.

What brilliant kids you have! And I can't believe all that snow! We are still relatively "warm" over here. I am definitely going to have to give those clips a whirl. If Taylor can do it, I can too! Right?

And I love the pic of your 3 kids in the snow - you are lucky to have not only extremely good looking children, but also ones that will LOOK at your camera!
