MUCH needed.

In exactly 23 hours the kids and I will be on a flight from Buffalo to Vegas. For two whole weeks! Ahhh...the sound of that is music (and sanity) to my ears! Or should I say insane? It's always a little crazy with just me and the kids flying home. I get the usual stares...like 'ALL of these are yours' kind of stares, can't wait for them to see my pregnant belly carrying another one this time! I'm counting on lots of sympathy help for car seat carrying + luggage hauling. Good thing it's a straight flight, none of that connection stuff, although it's usually nice to stretch the legs (or my back in my 7 months uncomfortableness case). However we get there, I'll just be happy to be in NO SNOW and 60+ degree weather! Bryan has a whole week off so I'll be picking him up at LAX on Valentines because part of this trip (if it could get any better) will be spent in San Diego visiting the zoo, Disneyland + Laguna Beach. Brooke, my sis, will be there too with her 4 little chicks!

So in the true Disney spirit I made 6 of these hairclips:
{front}
{back}
And for 9 darling grandchildren, I made these, 6 with bows for the girls, 3 without for the boys. My sister is bringing glow sticks for the night time fire works, my mom has gathered black notebooks for the autographing. Half the fun is planning, right?!
I've also been cranking out these darling bibs for the bun in the oven. I'm 99% sure on his name, just need to get Bryan on board, he's just about at the agreement point of the process. Brody was a hard one to sell too and look, it's 2008 fastest growing most popular name and I still LOVE it!  Can't get a middle name to stick for this guy. Family name? I need to do more research. Something original that just sounds good with the first? Can't decide.
I will return with pictures + stories

...and hopefully a slight tan
and I wouldn't object to a slight bounce in my step either.

I must admit that I am extremely jealous about your upcoming trip. You are very deserving though and I hope you have a fabulous time! Those shirts and clips are too cute. I don't know where you find the time to be so crafty.

Good luck on the baby naming. That, to me, is the hardest part. Can't wait for the unveiling!

So much fun for you guys!! I only live 5 hours away from that desert paradise and I don't get down there as often as you do!! But we are going to be in So. Cal on the 21st!! So sad that we're going to barely miss seeing you guys!! We're doing Disneyland and Legoland. We were actually going to go the same week you guys are going to be there but changed to a week later to hopefully avoid the Presidents Day crowd. Too bad though, it would have been so fun to run into you and Brooke!
Have so much fun!! I know you will!

I love the clips and shirts! How adorable. How do you find the time? Maybe it could be the miserable weather? HMMMM. I'm very jealous and hope you have a magical time. LOL

You are so talented! I love looking at your cute little crafts and even trying some of your fun recipes. Good for you for having a fun trip before another cute baby arrives. You sound like me with all the boys in tow, thank goodness you've got a girl to help you out with all the wild boyness! I sure love my girl helpers.

My goodness, I am so out of the loop. I didn't even know you left town, but I am glad you had a fun time. I guess when you have a baby you fall into a black hole and lose track of everyone for a couple of weeks. I love the hair clips and the bibs. You are so creative. I also can't wait to try your cheesy bread recipe, although I am sure it won't help me lose this baby weight. :o)
