Happy Birthday Taylor!

I can hardly believe I have an EIGHT year-old!! Let me tell you a little bit about Taylor. She was my first baby so obviously I had nothing to compare her to when I brought her home and after this little girl's first two years I'm just in shock I had another! Let's just say Taylor was...well some call it feisty where I just called it down right stubborn! Right from the get go this was her motto: If I don't wanna do it, I'm NOT doing it and there's NO way you're making me do it! (In a lot of ways still carries that motto!) She was born in St. George May 11, 2000. Right from the get go she absolutely refused to nurse (even after PAINFUL professional help!). She woke up every hour and on average 8 times a night until she was one. At one, she learned how to climb out of her crib. For a whole year at age 2, still waking up about 3 times a night, she slept on the couch (the only place she'd stay). She had 12 stitches in her left ring finger at 3 (loved to jump off things and color [with permanent marker] on every wall AND herself). Just before she turned 5 she was finally sleeping through the night! I can tell you though of course it's all been totally worth every minute because she is the coolest girl I've ever met. She's friendly, kind, outgoing, sensitive, caring, smart, okay, I know I'm a little biased but I'd wake up 8 times a night all over again in a second! She's the best! We love you TAY!
