Jam-packed fun.

What a great day...we went to:

First things, first. I enjoyed a nice early Saturday morning run all in good company. That means I've got a shout out to Haley for holding our "map" the whole 8 miles we ran together and the 6 she ran after she left me in the dust. Sorry I'm such a wuss lately...I'm feeling the big three - O coming on a little too strong lately and to think it's still 2 months away...argh! Not like a pirate. Argh! Like an old person. Sorry the map, pirate...Anyways.
In the afternoon, we set off for the BEACH. Not a cool beach like an ocean beach, but one of the Finger Lakes kind of beach. Which I LOVE by the way. How ever you label it, it had water and sand and works for us! Connor carried lots of buckets of water to make Brody a nice big pile of MUD, which believe me, he thoroughly enjoyed.
Funny face on this one, don't you think?

The kids did a LOT of this...
And if you're an avid reader of my blog, you'll know that Brody had nothing to do with that and everything to do with covering himself in mud, starting with these....{high FIVE, buddy!}

And that just wasn't nearly enough fun for one day, so we had to squeeze in a quick round of mini-putt putt. Which Brody has to play every hole like he's a baseball player trying to hit a home run, here's dad "trying" to help him hit "softly".

Connor still needs some help with that --- whoah buddy!

And right before we left to the beach a quick few shots on the porch, I learned this great new way to organize pics on one page...
My Tay - Tay. I love you and I don't know what I'd do without you!

I'm so so glad you came running with me. Hopefully I can figure out how to print off a real "map".
