Brody is obsessed with trains, cars, really anything with wheels...
Me: Brody, let's change your diaper!
Brody: I'm not sneaky. (he means stinky)
I take off his diaper and show him that it is very wet.
{replying instantly with equal if not more excitement...}
Brody: YEAH! I want to go on the train!!!
Wrong kind of train, buddy. Wish it were that easy, stick you on the train, come back in big boy pants? We'd be making the reservation tomorrow.

Brody wasn't watching public television this morning was he? I turned some show on (the mom was a broom, the kid a candle in a jar, I think) and mom was trying to 'train' the kid. The kid (candle) ws under the same misconception as Brody. If only it were as simple as a train ride...
In answer to your question, no. We moved to Pittsburgh a year ago (three more to go) and just returned from a very long visit (and fun) visit out west.
Oh Brody-boy. I can just picture him and all his excitement, that kid kills me. Cutest little guy ever!!!
When I was potty training Brandon he used to sit on the toilet and exclaim, "Let's get this potty train a-movin'!" I thought it was so cute and funny and that he was so original. Turns out Woody in Toy Story says, "Let's get this PARTY train a-movin!" He, too, was confused.
I wish it were that easy too. My twins have had a hard time with the potty thing. Boys are much harded to train than girls.
Ohh good luck, lady!
So cute. Maybe you should get a potty chair that looks like a train and you'll be all set!
Jam - My life has been a whirlwind! I DID get the CD - THANK YOU! Haven't even had ONE second to pop it in and check it out! I NEED TO!! Hope your good! Love the new blog look!! :)
That's so funny!! Good luck with the potty training!!
Ha!! Absolutely LOVE it. I'd book a ticket for any kids too!
That's so funny. This makes me not feel so bad that Tyler is still not potty trained either. (They are the same age, right - both 3 in October)? We have tried a couple of times..he's not quite getting it yet. I'm waiting until the kids are back in school to try again. Good luck!
He is sooooo.... cute!
That is totally Teage. He is all boy too. We just checked out a book at the library called the potty Train. And it is about a boy on a potty training train. Check it out. Teage loved it.
Love that little buddy! I can just hear the excitment in his voice and see the look on his face. Can't wait to see you guys in a month! Whoo hoo!
SO cute! k - the concept of potty training scares me to death... good luck there, sista!
You asked what happened with Amber, she actually committed suicide. She had been struggling for a few months with depression and she had been talking about suicide and tried a couple of times, and she succeeded with that attempt. It was a sad week and a really hard funeral, but the family is handling everything pretty well.
