Split Decision at our house!

Taylor + Connor jumped off the bus each wearing a "I VOTED!" sticker.  I asked Taylor who she voted for "McCain" she said with a shrug. Could care less I think. I asked Connor and he said with a huge beaming smile "OBAMA!!" I said really? why? He said "I really like to say his name plus I think it would be cool to have the first Afer-American (yes, I'm writing it just like he said Afer) president.....AND Obama always is smiling, every time they show McCain he is NEVER smiling!

Interesting.

2nd Favorite Connor moment today: I was making dinner + the GIGANTIC Toys R Us catalog had come in the mail + Connor was eyeing every bit of the Star Wars page deciding which he would write down on his Christmas list. He said to me "Mom, can I have this (Ok just so you know he doesn't tell me the name of the object, only the price, which makes me laugh - he knows what the deciding factor is!!) toy that is $49.99? I said if you really want it it would be one of the only presents you could pick. A minute later he found an even better one and said "oh mom, I really, really want this one, but it's $99.99! Could I get that one? Just tell me if you can afford it or not mom, I already know there's no Santa. I mean really how the heck could he ever get down our chimney anyway?"

Six-years-old and it's already over? Hope he doesn't tell Tay!

Yep...I've got an Obama and McCain supporter at my house, too. My three year old always says he's casting his vote for Obama while the 5 year old chose McCain. I like to say Obama's name, too. I hope I like him as the new president.

Brody is so funny!! I'm so glad I got to meet him because I can picture him saying these cute things. But oh so sad about the Santa remark....he really doesn't seem hurt by that fact does he?
Glad you've been feeling better!! Can't wait to hear what the baby will be?

Jayden's bus rolled up to the house the other day and you could hear them all scream "Obama" in unison! I asked Jayden why she would vote for him and she said "because he looks nice". Connor is too funny! Nice baby widget by the way :)
