see me grow.

I'm having way too much fun with photoshop putting together these storyboards. {I've got oodles of time since we're potty training today} I found some great ones by typing in google 'storyboard templates', I've always wanted to learn how and slowly I'm getting the hang of it...I didn't bookmark them to post a link, but I probably could email them to you if you would like. Putting this together makes me realize just how fast time flies - also makes me realize she'll soon be a teenager whether I like it or not!

Any tips on potty training very resistant boys? I need HelP - goInG VeRy VerY CraZy!~

she's darling! Um..pass those potty tips this way when you get them...my 2 1/2 year old is good at telling me after he's already done the deed! I gave up! I need your inspiration!

BRIBERY!! I've been potty training too. Jack was looking at a poster of thomas the train stuff and I told him I'd buy him one if he peed in the toilet. (standing up) He peed--we went to Target immediately and picked out a train. He had one accident the first day--so he lost his train until he peed in the toilet--then he got it back. Totally worked--the poop thing however is a different story. Good luck!

Cool storyboard. Got your card today. LOVED IT! You guys are a very photogenic (sp?) family. Kendall seriously almost broke me. It took a week with lots of treats that she picked out, time and, patience! I almost gave up then realized, "I'm the adult here :)" One of the longest weeks of my life. I wish you luck!

Taylor is so gorgeous! I definitely feel sorry for you when she's a teenager. Get your bat out and ready!

We just started potty training Carter last Wednesday. I just said, "that's it! no more diapers!" (except at naps and betime). He's only had one accident in six days. Everyone gets an M&M whenever he goes; it's our mini potty party. Best of luck!

You are so talented!

We asked our boys where they wanted to go if they stayed dry for a fullweek. They all said Chuck E. Cheese (I believe they even have charts on their website to track his progres.)

Also I've heard of putting Cheerios in the toilet for target practice and a fun incentive :D

I have a great potty training tip - wait until he's 5. :) That's my current plan with Andrew (who will be 3 end of march).. lol
I definitely remember Taylor most as the center picture and bottom left.. She's such a doll. I still remember riding in your car and Taylor telling newborn Micaela "issokay, issokay" soo cute!

I know potty training is no fun. My last was by far my hardest, I had to resort to skittles in a jar. The poop thing was also a lot harder so I went and bought some of those quarter toys that come in the plastic bubbles. He wanted them so bad that he caught on pretty quick.

So, SO adorable. Popsicles did the trick for me with potty training. We were in one room for an entire day. I loaded him up on juice, chocolate milk, any sort of drink (well, almost). I brought the little toilet in the living room and he sat on it while watching shows. Once he went he chose a treat, which was almost always popsicles. I'm not going to say it wasn't PAINFUL, but once I was ready to be super duper consistent he followed along. You can always tell him he can come and play too :).

I am going to potty train Andrew after the trip, by then I'm guessing you'll be done with Brody and then you can share your tips with me! :)
Good Luck though!

Uh....Jaime. YOU taught me the potty training technique and it worked like a charm with all three of my boys. PLEASE don't tell me your technique has stopped working. I've got another little one to train in a few years!!!
