Anticipation.

The first thing we are anticipating this week is the email that will come some time during the day this Wednesday letting us know where Bryan has matched for fellowship. We've waited about 6 months for this + we are definitely sitting by the computer on the 15th all day until the news comes in...

The other thing on my mind includes...

Nesting: A powerful urge to clean the house in preparation for the arrival of baby.

Bryan's on vacation this week perfect timing for my plans to deep clean the house! He chooses his vacation weeks before the year of school starts, well before we were expecting...so lucky for me (and not so lucky for him) I call that PERFECT timing!

My need to get everything ready came when I went to the doctor last week + my induction date got moved up a week! I'm now being induced the 21st! A week from tomorrow - I cannot believe it, this has been by far the fasted pregnancy I've ever had. So much to do - I deep cleaned Taylor's room yesterday, it about sent me into labor, in fact I considered for moment who I would call to be with my kids if the situation arose early. But after an hour of counting 2 minute apart contractions, exhaustion eventually took over + I was out.

My camera battery was dead on Easter. No pictures of matching Sunday Easter clothing for the kiddos, I'm biased but I did think they looked rather adorable. We came home and made a delicious dinner of ham, extra cheesy mashed potatoes, cooked carrots + a big crunchy salad. I tried a new recipe for dessert + now I am in love...just once you hafta, hafta, hafta try:
{Click HERE for the recipe}
It's the yummiest thing EVER - and so super easy, only one bowl required.
I recommend making it the night before or at least 8 hours ahead, it's even better. I think next time I would try to put a layer of fresh raspberry sauce between the crust + filling.

Wow.. that's so soon. I'm going to practice my non-coveting over the next week. ;) The nurse from my ob office called to say "Oops, sorry hon, turns out our whole induction schedule for May is already full.. oh, we have a slot on the 29th if you can switch hospitals" (43 weeks isn't too long, is it?) lol
