R A N D O M

I noticed Taylor snapping pictures the other day with my camera. I forgot she had + then today to my surprise came across this one - I LOVE it!

This is so easton + all his chubbiness.
{he just started sleeping through the night this week - oh love him}

One of the winter break activities we did:
snow painting.

spray bottles + food coloring
she would spray red:
he sprayed blue.
bits of purple.
oh brody!
He had one, it was green, he wanted whatever color he didn't have. Anyone have a four year old like that?
Best sweet bread ever!
LOVE this.

ORANGE POPPYSEED BREAD

3 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. baking powder
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/8 c. canola oil
1 1/2 c. milk
2 t. poppyseeds
1 1/2 t. vanilla
1 1/2 t. almond extract
2 t. butter extract

Prepare two 9x5 bread pans with butter + flour. Beat together the wet ingredients. Stir together the dry (including the sugar). Mix all together. 350 for 50-55 min or until toothpick comes out clean.

Glaze:
I mixed the sugar + oj on low on the stove so that the sugar would melt and not be all grainy, once dissolved take off heat, let cool, then stir in extracts. Immediately coat both loaves while in their pans. Cool them completely then release.
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. orange juice
1 t. butter extract
1/2 t. almond extract
1/2 t. vanilla extract

I've been crocheting quite a bit.
Including this patch throw.

And a beanie for Tay's American Girl doll.
And quickly a little pouch for my phone with enough room left for my debit card + license. So easy!

just a little disappointed I didn't pay attention more carefully and make the birdies right side up!

Love this post and all the pics.

Makes me miss you more than I already do.
Wish somehow I was on the plane on my way there along with mom and Ken. I'll admit, I'm jealous.
You just had her there - now another 3 weeks - pretty sure I have never had her longer than 3 days.

We will have to skype so I can feel like we are kind of there for a minute or two...or every day!!!

Looks like fun! Great idea with the food coloring. Taylor is a natural at the camera. The bread looks yummy, Poppyseed is my favorite. And I love your projects, my sister was just asking me lastnight to try and crochet a beanie with a flower on it, we shall see if I can figure it out!!

Wow Jaim! I'm very impressed. LOVE the projects you've been working on. I've got to learn how to make that cute blanket! Seriously, you NEVER cease to amaze me.
I CANNOT stand how big the kids are! It makes me sad that we can't see you guys more often.

You always have such cute projects! And cute babies! Now can you have your baby talk to my baby about sleeping through the night already?! ps - i think the birdies look better the way they are. :)

Hi Jamie, how are you? Do you by chance have Josh's address on his mission? Melissa wan't to write him. I can't believe she is just over two weeks away from leaving the MTC to Romania!! It takes a long time to get letters where they need to go from there so she wants to write him before she goes. Thanks!

So cute. Tayolor is going to be a little photographer. Kids are adorable!

So your sister Brooke must know Emmett's cousin Becky Wooten. I was just on her blog and she had left a comment on there. Small world.
